BlueStacks: Android Emulator for PC

Ever wondered if there was a way that would let you run all your Android applications on your Windows PC? How convenient it would be if you could manage your Android applications and Windows side-by-side? There is always a way. And I, bring it to you. Let's talk about what BlueStacks really is.

What is BlueStacks?

BlueStacks is an Android Emulator that runs on Windows and lets users experience Android in a whole new way. It is basically a whole Android Device on it's own. You sign up with your Google account, you download applications from the app store, you run the applications just like you do in any Android Device. And it's pretty easy to use. Just make sure you meet the minimum system requirements for a smooth experience.

Minimum System Requirements:

You can install the BlueStacks App Player on Windows machine as long as the following requirements are fulfilled:

You must be an Administrator on your PC.

Your PC must have 2GB of RAM/main memory. (Note that having 2GB or more disk space is not a substitute for RAM)

Your PC must have 4GB of disk space available for storing Android apps / games and their data.

You must have Dirext X 9.0 or higher installed on your system

The drivers for your PC's graphics drivers should be updated for compatibility with BlueStacks as described in the following post.

Installation:

Step 1. Go to the BlueStacks Homepage by clicking HERE and download BlueStacks emulator from the download tab on the top right corner as shown below or simply click HERE to download the emulator without going to the homepage.

Step 2. After the download is complete, run the setup file and install it according to the instructions you see on the screen.

Step 3. After the installation is complete, you will see a screen with instructions and you will then be asked to log in to your Google account. After you've successfully logged in, you can download any app from the app store and use the emulator like an Android device.

That's it. You're good to go. In case you want to download the rooted version of the Android emulator, download it from HERE. You can use rooted applications and gain the admin controls using this version of BlueStacks. But if you're not aware of what rooting is, I'd suggest you to stick with the original version. Thank you!
