Use Snapchat with Root Access Enabled

I'm pretty sure Snapchat has made a permanent place in the list of your daily social media applications and why not? With great filters and a decent interface, it deserves to be in the same light as other social platforms. However, it's a totally different story if you have a rooted device. A recent update from Snapchat blocked rooted users from using Snapchat as a rooted device allows you to take a snapshot without the other person knowing which is against the policies of Snapchat. This is why rooted devices were blocked. But there's always another way. Although you can no longer take screenshots like before without being detected, you can still use Snapchat without losing your root access, but only as a normal user.

Note: Make sure you're rooted with Magisk Manager running.

So follow the guide below to bypass SafetyNet (applicable for other apps like Pokemon Go as well):

Step 1:

When you try to log in with root access enabled, you get the following error.

Step 2:

Close Snapchat. Open Magisk Manager. Click on the side menu and go to Settings.

Step 3:

All you need to do is enable Magisk Hide. After you enable it, close the Magisk manager and open Snapchat and try logging in again. You should be able to use it normally now.
